Taking Action Photographs

1. The image of the cup being hit by the dice is my favorite image.
2. No, the dice and the cup are blurry because they are moving.
3. The angle that the photo was taken from was level with the subject.  I think the angle was the best angle because if it was any lower you wouldn't be able to see the dice and the cup as well.

1. A good action/adventure photo is made by a sudden or unexpected moment because it is not something you anticipate will happen which makes the photo more interesting.  It also captures a moment in time which is really cool.

2. Some things that I could photograph that fall under the category of action/adventure photography would be a sporting event or taking pictures of nature.

1. A picture is iconic when the light, subject, and composition all come together perfectly in a  unique and interesting way.  The picture surpasses its original meaning/event.
2. The three things that every picture must have to stand out are good light, great composition, and it needs to be of something interesting.

Written Reflection

This semester was really fun for me and I really enjoyed learning about the aspects of photography and also learning how to use photoshop.  I worked hard on using different angles and subjects in my photography to see what I liked the best.  Changing the scenery of the pictures was one of my favorite parts of this class.  During class i use my time wisely and I always get my work done and try to go above and beyond to get extra credit on all assignments.  I also try to be attentive during class for the photoshop tutorials.  I try to make all the photos I take look good while also completing the task of the assignment while using my surroundings to benefit the picture that I am taking.
